He always wanted to be a farmer and live in the countryside. The chances and opportunities thrown up by life led to him being involved in developing a veterinary products company which became number one in France and a global leader. After 25 years in the same company with responsibilities that had taken him to the position of CEO, he decided to return to his first loves: the countryside, animals and animal rearing. He is passionate about traditions and local produce.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">After training at the hotel school in Thonon-les-Bains, Fabienne completed her academic career with a Master\u2019s degree in hospitality and tourism. Although she had no particular interest in living abroad, she moved to the University of Toulouse to develop its hospitality training programme in Malaysia, one that is now famous throughout Asia. He is also secretary of the \u201cConservatoire des Races d\u2019Aquitaine\u201d, a pioneering French general interest association aiming to safeguard domestic breeds that are in danger of dying out.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff\">Fabienne is the heart, soul and mainstay of Domaine de la Valette. Ever present but always discreet, she keeps an eye on every detail to ensure that her visitors receive the best. Her only concern is to make sure that you have a successful holiday. Fabienne is highly involved in local community life, and in particular in protecting schools in rural locations.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff\">Arnaud and Fabienne have two children, C\u00e9lestine (aged 9) and Gustave (aged 7). The first is a horse and pony fan and the second is a rugby lover.
