“We have travelled and lived in many countries,” explains Fabienne. “When we came back to France, we wanted to settle in the countryside, in a place not only for our family, but also open to others. Our children go to the village school, we are very much involved in the local community and we also take great pleasure in welcoming guests from France and other countries to this peaceful, comfortable setting. All we want is for our guests to feel at home here, make the most of the beautiful surroundings and appreciate the authentic character of this place without a care in the world.”
The characterful houses they offer for seasonal rental reflect the hosts: they are elegant and designed around the comfort and well-being of their guests, with noble materials, top-quality fittings, plenty of antique wood, a cosy atmosphere and tasteful decoration… In this friendly setting, everything is done to ensure your stay is a perfect one.
Périgord was not chosen by accident: the region’s assets perfectly reflect the hosts’ values. Bathed in sunlight and committed to its traditions, it nevertheless offers a new type of modernity ensuring a particular French way of life.
Settling here was also a definitive choice to protect rural life. Investing in the countryside means working with local artisans who possess invaluable expertise, supporting a school, planting trees and hedges, or maintaining landscapes to ensure biodiversity.
Welcoming visitors represents an opportunity to share this way of life but also a duty to preserve it. To preserve and respect: preserve our resources, preserve our environment, highlight built and living heritage, and respect local traditions and customs. The Domain and the Farm are both committed to this approach.
